Vamp April

This isn’t even my work though it is me in the illustration. At art school, we had an assignment in our illustration class to depict different emotions. We were paired up and then each of us had to use our partner as the subject of our emotions illustration. My fellow classmate created this depiction of me. This piece always amuses me every time I look at it. Mostly because I have been accused of being as vicious as a vampire and not liking the sun because it BURNS. . . LOL. My emotion was pain. As you can see, the one on the right would be mine of my fellow classmate with toothpicks jammed into his head. This one was created on scratch board which is a sheet of white illustration board with a layer of black ink.
