Longhorn Roundup
In this painting I used what I learned from working with watercolors to create a watery look with acrylic paints. I basically let the paint and water do most of the work letting it flow down the canvas, running into each other. Painting like this can sometimes be a hit or a miss. Happy accidents can happen when you let the water move the paint on the canvas. For example, my favorite part happened while I was painting the eye. I love the soft flow of the blues and purples around the eye and how it dripped down below it..
