The Majestic King

I saw a picture of a lion laying majestically on the safari. I was drawn more to the lion's head where I felt his pride really showed through. I went for bright oranges and yellows for the lion and an abstract background of purples and pinks. This piece was drawn on black textured paper with soft pastels.
